Mindfulness for children.

We teach children key skills to help them experience life to its fullest.

As Jon Kabat-Zinn said, “You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf them.”

We believe in a proactive approach; empowering children with knowledge and techniques to cultivate a healthy mind and deal with 'wobbles' (perceived challenges) of daily life.

We teach children about specific areas of the brain & how these affect our ability to focus, make good choices and recognise when we need to 'steady ourselves'.

Children learn ways that mindfulness can support them in many day-to-day activities at home and school, including concentration & memory, emotional regulation & in relationships with family and friends.

They learn techniques (or we call them 'Super Powers') to help them to 'see' more positives and have healthy, peaceful experiences.  Our teaching is not about trying to get rid of thoughts (pretty impossible) or ignoring and resisting emotions or experiences, but learning how to deal with these kindly and skillfully.
